Ultradry AI-DU is a Solvent-based Self-cleaning Anti-icing Coating for both the base and top layers; With ability to prevent icing in low-temperature environments, effectively preventing water vapor from adhering to and freezing the coating by weakening the interfacial bond between the ice layer and the coating; Ultradry AI-DU is used for surface protection of various outdoor insulators, transmission lines and other equipment in power systems that are vulnerable to ice formation and threaten the safe transmission of electricity, and is also applicable to other industrial and civil facilities that require anti-icing, anti-pollution flashover, superhydrophobic and superself-cleaning, such as buildings, roads and Bridges, communications, electronic information, municipal engineering, rail transit, new energy vehicles and other fields.
– Bionic structure, designed from the idea of the “lotus leaf effect”; Ultradry AI-DU achieves excellent superhydrophobic and super-oleophobic properties by reactive modification of inorganic nanoparticles using low surface energy substances and its innovative micro-nano spatial structure construction.
– Contact Angle is greater than 150° and the Sliding Angle (SA) is less than 5°. Formed nearly perfect spherical water droplets on the coating surface, which can quickly roll off and remove dust and dirt, presenting excellent self-cleaning and hydrophobic properties.
– Ultradry AI-DU has the ability to prevent icing at low temperatures, weakening the interfacial bond between the ice layer and the coating, effectively preventing water vapor from adhering to the coating and freezing on the coating surface when the ambient temperature is low;
– Outstanding anti-pollution flashover performance, good weather resistance and a convenient construction process.

- Safe Use Technical Data Safe Use technical data can be found in the Chemical Safe Use Data Sheet (MSDS).
- The paint is solvent-based and should be handled with care. Inhalation of paint mist and contact with skin or eyes of wet paint should be avoided. If it accidentally splashes onto the skin, rinse immediately with an appropriate detergent, soap and water. If it accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
- When applying paint in confined Spaces, ensure good ventilation and lighting.
- If on-site personnel are working in an environment with concentrations above the above explosive limit, each must be equipped with complete personal protective equipment (PPE).
