DTPMPA, or diethylenetriamine penta (methylene phosphonic acid), is a chemical compound used in various industrial applications. It has chelating and anti-corrosion properties, making it useful in water treatment, detergents, and textile dyeing. It binds to metal ions, preventing them from reacting with other substances and causing problems.

DTPMPA’s chelating properties also come in handy in the textile industry, where it acts as a stabilizer for peroxides used in bleaching processes. Additionally, it functions as a dispersant, keeping dyes and pigments suspended in solution and preventing them from clumping. In the agricultural sector, It serves as a chelating agent for micronutrients, ensuring their efficient delivery to plants. It also finds use in the papermaking industry as a dispersant for fillers and coatings, and in the personal care industry as a stabilizer for ingredients like hydrogen peroxide.

UniVOOK offers DTPMPA in various grades and packaging options to meet the specific needs of our customers. We also provide technical support and guidance to ensure optimal product performance.

Feature and Application
mark DTPMPA, or Diethylenetriamine Penta (Methylene Phosphonic Acid), distinguishes itself with a range of advantageous properties. This non-toxic compound demonstrates easy solubility in acidic solutions and exhibits robust anti-scaling and corrosion-inhibiting effects. Notably, its exceptional temperature resistance surpasses 210℃, making it particularly effective in high-temperature environments.
mark Marked by its ability to inhibit carbonate and sulfate scale formation, DTPMPA further excels in slowing down scaling in alkaline conditions. Its corrosion performance surpasses that of other organic phosphines, enhancing its suitability for various applications.
mark In the realm of water treatment, DTPMPA serves as a versatile scale and corrosion inhibitor for circulating cooling water and boiler water. Importantly, it eliminates the need for pH adjustment, streamlining the water treatment process.
mark Beyond water treatment, DTPMPA finds application as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in oil field water injection, especially in environments with high barium carbonate content. Its efficacy extends to diverse industries, where it functions as a peroxide stabilizer, demonstrating notable stability under high-temperature conditions.
mark Industries such as papermaking, electroplating, metal pickling, and cosmetics benefit from the versatile applications of DTPMPA. Additionally, it plays a crucial role as a stabilizer for oxidative fungicides.
